About
Manmohan Rathi, Founder
Manmohan's path into IoT started almost by accident, when a final-year project he was
challenged to build during his diploma didn't go as planned. That unfinished project is
what hooked him. From there, he taught himself IoT the hard way: learning a concept and
then proving it out on a real project, over and over, through the rest of his degree,
through two years working in corporate IT on Python and automation, and through a
postgraduate specialization in IoT in the UK that sharpened his thinking around
low-power design, battery life, and building products that actually hold up physically
in the real world.
Building is where most of his time goes, and it spans a wide range of settings:
production-line monitoring on factory floors, systems tied to public infrastructure, and
projects for major commercial and industry clients. He's hands-on through the entire
process, from early design and prototyping to writing the firmware, choosing the
hardware, and deploying the system on site. What matters most to him is what happens
after deployment: a system that's still running cleanly months later, not a demo that
only worked once in front of a client.
Alongside the building, he's run workshops and internships since his own college days,
for 500+ students so far, covering everything from curriculum design to hands-on
delivery to final project evaluation. Budh IoT Solutions brings both sides together: a
studio that goes all in on IoT specifically, treating every new project as a problem
worth solving properly, and sticking around to make sure it keeps working.
